The museum is managed by the St Helena Heritage Society, a charitable organisation, which is a member of the St Helena National Trust and is supported by the Friends of St Helena.
The museum has not secured funding for its running costs except for the Director's salary which is paid by the St Helena Government. The museum relies on the generosity of individuals, like you, to meet these costs which amount to £20,000+ per year.
